Lamentations 3:19-23

Stay Pure
Hebrews 13:4
Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
Ephesians 5:3
But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality…

Passions need parameters.
Galatians 5:24

Magnify the consequences.
Proverbs 6:32
But a man who commits adultery lacks judgment; whoever does so destroys himself.
Maintain proper relationships.

He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.
Three Responses
Defensiveness.
Remorse.
Repentance.

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
