Able
(2 Corinthians 8:12) For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
(2 Corinthians 9:6-7, 11) Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver... You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
1.Intentional giving.
(Mark 12:43-44) Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”
2. Percentage giving.
(1 Corinthians 3:12-15) If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward.
3. Eternal giving.
Alone we can do a little. Together we can do a lot.
